A Silent Auction For Cabaret Haiti Mission
This year has been a struggle for Cabaret Haiti Mission. There is such a need of love and support for the children and staff. With so much unrest it has made it nearly impossible for churches to come and help with the needs of the orphanage. Some of our members have been blessed to visit and work with the children and staff at Cabaret in the past. It hurts our hearts to hear about all the unrest these day.
Just because we are here does not mean that we still can’t be the hands and feet of Christ.
We know there is a need to raise funds to keep the orphanage running and functioning as it should. That being said on March 5th, we will be doing a “Dinner on the Grounds” with a “Silent Auction” to raise funds to help our friends at the orphanage. Each of our Sunday School classes will be making a basket for the silent auction. Any individual being led to make a basket please feel free to do so. You choose your theme for the basket, or if you prefer you can donate the money for the basket and someone else will design it. The range for the baskets can be anywhere from $50 to $200. Mike Snider from Cabaret Haiti Mission will be speaking that morning during the service.
You can also make a donation online at https://hdbcjax.com/give/. Please be sure to choose “Love Offering – Cabaret Haiti Mission” as your designation.
