Catch the Vision Tour for New England Planting
Late last year a small group of pastors from our network traveled to Providence, Rhode Island and New Bedford, Connecticut to prayerfully consider how God could partner First Coast Churches with church planters in this New England area.
Much like our continued partnership with Toronto Church Planting, we seek to connect churches here with churches in New England. Partnerships with planters provide churches here to look outward and beyond just our own community. The partnerships also provide needed support through prayer, provision, and people for church planters serving in underreached communities.
Every church in our network, regardless of size or perceived resources, can connect in a strategic partnership with New England churches. There are varied ways to do so and we are here to help our churches discover how to do so. This is not a “one-size fits all” partner proposal, but we believe will be beneficial to all who will step into such a relationship.
If you are interested in learning more, we invite you to join us on a First Coast Churches Catch the Vision Trip to New England on February 20–22. This partnership connects churches in the BCNE (Baptist Churches of New England) and Send Network New England. Our desire is that every church planter in Rhode Island and some in surrounding areas of Massachusetts and Connecticut have a First Coast Churches partner.
The cost of the trip is to be determined, but will include cost for flight to Providence from Jacksonville, plus hotel stay and some meals.
